How to Adjust Brightness on iPhone 6/ iPad mini

Nowadays, more and more people get used to reading e-books with their iPhones or iPads, but it is not a good habit because bright screens may cause uncomfortableness or even harms to eyes. Actually, there is minimum screen brightness output function on iPhone or iPad such as 7 nit on iPhone 6 and 4 nit on iPhone Plus and iPad Air 2, so people can adjust brightness on iPhone/iPad. Now, there is a practical approach of triple clicking home button to turn on the function to have screen brightness under the minimum. Before getting started, you have to do some settings.

1. Turn on "Settings" and tap the "Accessibility".

2. Enter the "Zoom" interface in the "Accessibility".

3. Turn on the "Zoom".

4. Back to the homepage, double clicks the screen with three fingers. Move the zoom module in the popping up menu to the leftmost position.

5. Select the "Choose Filter".

6. Choose the "Low Light".

7. Back to the homepage and go to the bottom to turn on the "Accessibility Shortcut". Triple click the home button to set it as Zoom, which means the low light filter is turned on as long as triple click the Home button in any interface.

Following the processes above, you can adjust your iPhone 6 / iPad mini brightness on your own, and your eyes would suffer too much anymore! Even though Apple is so considerate for setting the minimum output function to mitigate the harm from screen brightness, you are better not to use your phone in the darkness. Remember, good habits keep you stay healthy.

Solution to Lacking Storage Space in iCoud

iCloud, a free cloud service operated by Apple Inc, can provide information and data sharing and synchronization for iPhone, iPad and Mac. For example, our daily use iPhone is able to automatically sync data including contacts, memos, web bookmarks, and photos to iCloud via opening iCloud service with Apple ID logged in. If you launch iCloud with the same Apple ID on other devices, your information will be synchronized into other devices so as to realize files sharing. After using the device for a longtime, the data in your cellphone like photos and backup for apps will be more and more, possibly causing lack of backup storage space. Let’s take iPhone as an example to show you how to solve this problem.

Here are the steps to follow:

Sony Xperia Z3v Stands out with Camera and Battery

Sony Xperia Z Series has been well acclaimed since its release. However, it has never been on sale in the USA. Last month at the IFA Conference, Sony declared that it would launch Z3v--the variant on Z3 in America in collaboration with Verizon Wireless. Now let’s get the first glimpse of Z3v.

Specification
Display: 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 resolution)
Processor: 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor
GPU: Adreno 330
Memory: 3GB
Internal storage: 16GB (expandable via microSD card to 128GB)
Cameras: 20.7-megapixel rear camera with LED flash (superior to Z3)
Battery: 3200 MAh (lager than Z3)
Waterproofing: IP68 (compared to IP55/IP58 of Z3)
Wireless charging: Qi (a new and attractive feature)

Design
Although Z3v is thin and light as ever, it still varies from the European version. It adds a metal strip around the edges of the plastic body instead of being completely encompassed. In addition, both the front and the back sides are made of glass and the round Power Button is on the right side of the body. What’s more, Sony announces that Z3v will be the most powerful waterproof phone among their products owing to its IP68 waterproof capacity.

Display

Z3v has a 5.2-inch display with 1080P. It supports Triluminous and X-reality, both of which can automatically and intelligently adjust the brightness and contrast. Therefore, the display effect is quite salient.

Camera

It is universally known that Sony produces the top camera of smartphones, and even the camera of iPhone is provided by Sony. Z3v is equipped with Stacking G lens with 20.7 million pixels and Bionz image processing engine. Like most flagship smartphones, Z3v allows shooting 4K resolution videos.

Several camera applications are added in Z3v, like Face In, an app allows users to take photos simultaneously with both front and rear cameras, Live on YouTube, which enables a 15-minute live broadcast on YouTube, and a built-in app which pieces photos taken at the same time from various views together.

Sound
Although music applications have largely replaced the digital music sales, Sony still plays an important role in music. Z3v supports high-quality music player, digital noise reduction features. Meanwhile, DSEE HX technology can enhance the effect of users’ low-quality MP3 and ACC music files. Sony says that Z3v has the best sound among all the smartphones in its company.

Supporting PS4 Remote Play
Sony PS4 has achieved great success since its launch last year, and the current sales volume has reached 10 million. Sony hopes that its success in the gaming field can help to promote the development of mobile devices, for which the company launched PS4 Remote Play service. Users can use this service via Wi-Fi network to continue playing previously suspensive game on the PS4. In addition to Z3v, both PS TV and PS Vita also support the service.

Price and Date for Debut
Xperia Z3v, the exclusive product of Verizon Wireless, is scheduled to put on sale on October 23, and its price for contract version is 199 US dollars.

Conclusion
Although the powerful camera, great battery capacity, slim body and marvelous waterproof feature have made Xperia Z3v attract tremendous attention, only by more depth tests can we figure out its real performance. Regrettably, in order to realize wireless charging, the body of Z3v is made of plastic, making its texture slightly inferior to Z3.

Samsung Note 4 Overwhelms iPhone 6 in S Pen and Display

Recently Samsung has published two ads to state why users should choose Galaxy Note 4 Tablet by showing us facts and reasons.
Suppose you believe that Galaxy Note 4 is superior to iPhone 6 Plus, so how will you express your own ideas to us? Will you deliver it in a mocking way like what Samsung used to do to iSheeps( who are fascinated with iOS products), or in a mild way?
Samsung chose the latter in its new ads. In one ad which lacks distinction and even did not joke about iPhone 6 Plus, it mentions the screen of Galaxy Note 4 isn't just a display, but the access to prolific world. And in another ad, Samsung declares that the S Pen of Galaxy Note 4 is not just a pen, it is like a lightsaber, a pair of scissors, and even a glue stick.

The brand image of Samsung in the USA is affected differently owing to its different ad styles. Some of the Samsung ads are really remarkable while the others are so ordinary. And there is no doubt that these two latest ads are the latter. Therefore, in the future, it is possible that Samsung might release ads which will be more persuasive so as to show the advantages of its new products.

What's New in Apple's iOS 8?

iOS 8 is the biggest iOS release ever, though you find most apps in iOS8 are so similar, even identical to those you are using in iOS 7. But some new features, functions and tricks are hidden in these iOS 8 versions of your best-loved apps. When using the iOS 8, you may be pleasantly surprised at first, and becomes totally indispensable to it before you know it and master it. Let me show you some of the things iOS can do for you better.

Messages
In iOS 8, Messages has fun, useful, even amazing features that you can hardly imagine. Messages in iOS 8 enable you to capture any sound, like your voice, a big laugh, or a song, and add it to your conversation. With it, you can quickly and easily send videos and photos to the person you are talking to as well. If needed, you can start a group chat to include who you want, drop who you don't, and leave the chat whenever you want. If your chat partner has location shared, you can see the message thread on the map.

Camera
With the new iOS 8 Photos app, you can easily find, edit and share your photos whenever and wherever. You may notice a new mode comes to Camera: Time-lapse videos. Put your thumb on the screen and keep swiping to the right, the horizontal slide is at the bottom. You'll see the Time-lapse after the Slo-Mo setting. The result is a video showing an accelerated sequence of the photos over time. Another welcome addition is smart adjustments. That is, you can modify the overall light or color in a photo with a simple control--slide vertical exposure slider, next to the focus box, up and down, to make your shot brighter or darker.

Safari
iOS 8 tackles some of the iOS web browser's most annoying quirks. This new trick saves you a couple of taps. You can see all your open web pages, with tabs from the same site grouped together. There is also a new sidebar that slides out to reveal your bookmarks, reading list, and shared links. iOS 8's Safari enables us to request a full, desktop version of a site, just by tapping Safari's address bar while browsing a mobile site, then it will come up with the desktop option.

QuickType
iOS 8 brings us the smartest keyboard ever. As you type, you'll see choices of words or phrases you'd probably type next, based on your past conversations and writing style. It can obviously speed up your typing. Moreover, when you're typing a message or an email, iOS 8 will take into account the casual writing style and language you use in Messages and Mail and adjust the choices of words according to the person you're communicating with.

Battery Management
"My iPhone is dying so fast", this may frustrate you a lot. You want to see what apps are killing your phone so quickly? Now, let's do it. Go into Setting > General > Usage. All your apps will be listed, ranking in descending order, the greatest battery consumer is at the top. If you want to see your battery usage around the last week, you can move the slider at the top.

Family Sharing
If your parents are blaming you for wasting too much money on purchases from App Store, here is a good way for you to appease them. Family Sharing is a new way to make your family's digital life harmonious. Your family members, up to six, can share purchases from the App Store, iTunes and iBooks without sharing extra accounts. Once you set up Family Sharing, the other family members can access to and download each other's books, apps and so on.

Reading the above new functions introduced on iOS 8, it will be not difficult for you to find that iOS 8 is really fantastic and its usage is very humanization. Have you already mastered it?
